Twisted Chaz
Does anyone else have this problem? I mean I have to turn my tv up so loud, and even then it's dead quiet.

Twisted Chaz
Hmmm, I did have a look at that, but it was still really quiet.
lunamonkey
I find everything quiet on my xbox compared to my PC. They come out of the same Logitech. and I have to turn it down whenever I go back to my PC. Or I could just set my PC main mixer to half.... :s
Remysaus
I thought this was a joke about the cd-drive  anyway, yeah, if I watch a movie or stream music I always have to turn the volume up, with games it's good though.
metal_dragen Veteran Posted August 11, 2009 Veteran Share Posted August 11, 2009 I've noticed this as well - whenever I stream a movie from Netflix, or watch a DVD on my Xbox, I have to crank the volume almost double my normal setting for TV in order to get the same sound levels. I've checked all the settings on the Xbox, but there's nothing I can find to explain it, especially as game volume is just fine.
Twisted Chaz
It's really winding me up, cause I go back to the TV and it almost deafens me. And at 3am it's not good for the neighbours.
neoadorable
yes, DVD's do the same - have to turn up the vol almost all the way up to hear it clearly. good thing i'm always on headphones with the 360, otherwise it'd be a nuisance to the other people in the house... BoneyardBrew Member Posted August 11, 2009 Member Share Posted August 11, 2009 I thought this was a joke about the cd-drive  Me too! Regarding the problem at hand, I have no clue as to why it is happening. I just posted to say that I thought you were making a joke as well.
lawtai
With games, I have to turn the sound down. With movies, I have to turn the sound way up on my tv.
Tharp Daddy
I don't have this issue, but i'm also using a VGA cord to my computer screen, with the 2 sound cords jacked into my Altec Lansing speaker system. Netflix sounds fine, as does music. It might just be a unfixable issue - try contacting Microsoft?
