Favourite S(ega) M(aster) S(ystem) 8-bit Games

Well, since someone started one for the NES, I decided to start one for the SMS (Sega Master System), which was technologically the more advanced system, yet the NES was the more popular one.

Here are a few to start off:

Quartet

Phantasy Star

Alex Kid: The Lost Stars

Alex Kid in (Miracle World, High Tech World, Shinobi Land)

Altered Beast

Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic Chaos

and... THE NINJA! :D

OMG i loved The Ninja

But yeah, i think i played Sonic and The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants the most.

There was another game that i remember playing but i can't remember the name. It had some really cool music though.

Wasn't Alex Kidd built into the machine? I seem to remember it was, but it was a long time ago :)

Favourites were R-Type and Shinobi

Alex Kidd in Miracle World was indeed built into the SMS2 units. The original ones had a snail maze game. I think that the later SMS2s in Europe and South America (and then later still the SMS3 in South America) had Sonic the Hedgehog built in.
