DrunknMunky Veteran Posted August 17, 2009 Veteran Share Posted August 17, 2009 By Jonathan Cullen Eurogamer.fr has put live the GamesCom trailer of Alan Wake for you to cast your beady eyes over. Go watch it at the link. It looks really good, obviously. We hope to see this during Microsoft?s presser on Wednesday. It?s out in spring 2010 for Xbox 360. PC version?s gone AWOL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVYSteZ3oB0.swf http://www.vg247.com/2009/08/17/new-alan-w...er-goes-online/

sanctified Veteran Posted August 17, 2009 Veteran Share Posted August 17, 2009 Seems like Remedy will rise the narrative possibilities in gaming a notch or two, this is beyond awesome. Also, I like the fact that Max Payne introduced and narrated the trailer ;)
+virtorio MVC Posted August 17, 2009 MVC Share Posted August 17, 2009 This game was the reason I brought a 360 (some years ago now). It's been a long wait, but seems like it's going to be worth it.
Tech Star
I guess I will just post this here: Reassuring: Alan Wake is 'done,' being polished Remedy Managing Director Matias Myllyrinne tells Joystiq that Alan Wake is finished and getting all gussied up for its release next spring. After a GDC Europe presentation on how Remedy handles intellectual property, we asked the executive if the long-in-development title would be ready to wake when the snow melts. Myllyrinne noted, "It's all done, we're just polishing at this point."Wow, great! With something like six months to go before its "spring 2010" launch, Alan Wake should shine by the time it's released. Considering the title has been in development since 2005, it's good to know that the game is "done" and just trying to become its very best. News Source: Joystiq I am glad! :D From the E3 trailer I saw it was legendary! :D I just hope that they stick to their word that after they finish the X360 version they will port it to the PC. Yeah. :( I am hoping that when DX11 comes out with Windows 7, when they start working on the PC version, it will be working with DX11.
Lamp0
I am not really blown away by what I have seen of Alan Wake, I don't really know where all the hype came from. I mean it doesn't look like there's anything "wrong" with it. I just don't see what's so great about it.

Probably Remedy's record of making excellent games, with better story lines and atmosphere than most.
