+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted August 18, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted August 18, 2009 Sony's video download store will finally be available to European PlayStation owners later this year! According to announcements out of Sony's GamesCom presentation, the service will launch in the UK, France, Germany, and Spain in November, with more areas to follow in 2010. At first, the service will only offer movies (for rent or purchase, in HD or SD, on PS3 or PSP), but "local content" will be added in time. In other PSN catch-up news, PSN cards will be available in stores in September, in 20 and 50 euro denominations. Great news for people who like to be in stores when they buy things! This may not be a surprise, given that a retailer already revealed plans -- but then, even if that hadn't happened, you've all had several years to get used to the idea of PSN cards.
