Hahaha, my inner 'basterd' is laughing. Probably realised what a run-of-the-mill experience it is.

Corrected. (Look closer)

I'm the hopeless one, lol. I took out MP, because the game is generic 100%. There is nothing new or relevant to this game.

I'm glad you guys missed the point, because you end up looking like the "tosser".

For the record: I prefer a British accent than an American one.

Judging from the comments (and the fact that the team was laid off), it seems as though this isn't going to be the fresh new PC multiplayer game that I was hoping it would be. What a shame. I guess I'll go back to playing TF2.

Well it would have been nice to have a good MP, real nice actually, but so far I am thoroughly liking the SP experience a lot. Granted I have only played the first level now (twice cause I had a huge pause from one game-play session to another), but just the small taste of the veil being shown, and the gunplay and controls seem to take a huge piece out of the COD control scheme, and honestly it seems like a very solid SP experience so far.

I don't know, maybe it is because FPS's are my favorite genre so I am a little more forgiving, but I also usually tend to call a piece of **** a piece of **** when I see it (like Medal Of Honor Airborne and my huge disappointment with Far Cry 2), and so far what I have seen is a very solid FPS. So unless it goes way way way down hill, which I guess it has the potential to do so, I think I am in for the long haul with the SP. I very well may never even launch MP though.

This is a real shame for all those getting sacked.

And for those of you thinking that maybe it's no surprise due to the lacklustre MP in the game, remember there's a lot more to it than that.

For a start, why is the entire team being sacked? It's very unlikely that each person involved actually had much input into the whole experience. From the artists to the coders, they usually get given a design brief and told to do it. Whoever designed that brief should be sacked, not the team that did it.

And even at that, we have no idea of the constraints the team were under. How long did they actually have to work on the MP? How were they interacting with the rest of the Wolfenstein team?

It would be understandable to hear of one or two people getting laid off, I mean some people honestly just deserve it...but the whole team? Something isn't right here.

Yeah the SP is decent, but nothing great or even ground breaking. Even more annoying there is barely any achievements for it. Still not sold on using the veil, more gimmicky than it is fun to use.

And I've not bothered launching MP myself either. After I played the beta my expectations for that dived. Which is really a shame because 1: I've been looking forward to a proper sexual for a good 6 years 2: I wanted something to tide me over until Halo 3 ODST
