cabron
It is true that some best buy store already received Snow Leopard retail boxes? I saw in another website someone claiming that one of his friend that work in Best Buy saw the Snow Leopard retail boxes to be available to the general public in September 7, 2009. I smell fishy this claim. I don't believe it. Anyone in here working for Best Buy can confirm this rumor? Edited August 19, 2009 by cabron
sn00pie
Nope. I work at a Best Buy and if we got it would've passed through me first. We usually get our shipments for new Apple stuff about a day or two before release. If Apple announces new products, we don't get them until atleast a few days after the announcement, that is assuming they are available 'now'. Ruciz
its not really that great.. a lot of compatibility issues and no real speed improvement - what can you expect for $30 tho? maybe my mac is just too efficient? It is due to launch I think the 14th or something so stock should soon be arriving.. the GM was done a while back so all they had to do was press & package. Miuku.
its not really that great.. a lot of compatibility issues and no real speed improvement Where would these compatibility issues hide because so far I've had to do nothing - the only program that didn't want to work properly was Parallels and even that was fixed by simply installing a newer version of it that brought proper SL support. And no real speed improvements? Now I know you are talking out of your butt.
