Sil3nt
Seems like $900 is a bit pricey but would be nice to use a 24" instead of this tiny 13" I'm using right now...

If I want to hook it up to my MBP do would this cable work? http://estore.circuitassembly.com/products...pter-Cable.html
sonyman
Don't forget that you can get the 24" display as a refurbished model from Apple for $599. The Dell is not LED-backlit nor does it have a built-in magsafe connector or mini-displayport.
.Kompressor
I'm using a 24" Led cinema display with my 13" makes a great pair.... and just like Mac products it works seemlessly with simple 3 plugs. The screen powers the laptop. 3 plugs go into the 13" from the LED. The led cinema display also has the same glass screen like the laptop. 1 - powers the laptop 1 - links 3 USB ports (where I plug in a mouse & keyboard + an 8 port USB hub) on the screen through a USB port on the laptop. 1 - mini displayport. instantly turns the screen on when it's plugged in. speakers also built into the screen... the laptop can use both screens or make the 24" the primary as soon as it's detected...so all apps will only open in that one although you can drag across into the laptop screen if you wanted. bobbba
The Apple LED cinema display costs a lot but the pq is very good imop. Much better than the samsung I had been using.
