My Lego fandom just went through the roof.

I've been meaning to get another LEGO set to add to my already burgeoning collection but so many things have been breaking down like my phone, and I had to get a new notebook that right now I literally have no money to buy anything. Also, it is a bit hard to get LEGO sets over here as most of them have been replaced with video games so that doesn't help. Hopefully, once I've cleared up all the necessary debt I would be able to get a Techic LEGO, preferably one which is very big :p .

I used to absolutely love LEGO!

I never had loads of money so couldn't afford to get a new set every month, you won't believe how much I wanted to buy the Harry Potter castle and what not in LEGO! (I had saved up too, but everywhere was out of stock!). I used to love going in 'Toys R Us' when I was little and seeing a whole wall full of LEGO sets. I also liked the LEGO Studios sets, they were cool. Still got some of them somewhere I think.

I'd love to get back into LEGO, but more advanced... just need the money and to convince my friends LEGO is not just for small children! hah!

Edit: There was a LEGO PC game that came out years ago, did anyone have it? You could build your own towns and what not? I didn't play it much as it never ran well on my computer, and didn't at all when I got XP.

I remember LEGO Racers, damn was that a fun game :p ! You could customise your cars and in certain levels you could fit rocket launchers to shoot your opponents  !

This thread reminds me very much of a trip few months ago...Disney World had an awesome shop called "Lego Land". Their statues, showings, displays are virtually everything made out of lego. Sea Dragon in water made of lego? Awesome haha!

Legos is always great to play with, no matter what the age is...

They have a Lego World at the Mall of America. Pretty amazing.

My son gets a new set at least once a month, and he has Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman all for xbox360..

He rarely makes the correct set either.. HE just wants the pieces so he can just build something he wants to build. He is 7yrs old.

I must say, Lego's are an amazing tool for learning and especially creativity. I love them to this day.

My son is the same way. He's 6 and builds those sets for 7. 8-14 and then tears them apart to build other things on his own.
