I don't know if I finished the first one 100%, well MMO's you never really can but you know what I mean. I am interested in this though.

damn, this looks great ... im about to start playing Aion. Love the beta's so far, can't wait ... one month left till release

Same here, and Champions Online. Good thing GW2 is free, and I will have a Lifetime membership to Champions, cause otherwise it would get expensive lol

It looks nice, hope it's better than the first one. Little things like even not being able to jump really put me off. Also it really bugs me when people call Guild Wars an mmo because it isn't.

Looks very good so far.....I was a big fan of the original GW in the past but eventually grew tired of it due to the lack of things to do outside of PVP (level, finish the game, then either farm for money or help friends), hopefully GW2 goes beyond that and expands on what you can do in the game. Not a huge PvP fan and I feel GW was a bit lacking (after the storyline) in the PvE environment.

That trailer looks really impressive. I said to myself I'd not get Guild Wars 2 (I play WoW now after playing Guild Wars a long time ago) but I may just have to change my stance and get this when it comes out.

I was about to say it's still vaporware half way through the video but then they got to showing actual gameplay. It looks amazing! I started playing the original Guild Wars about a month after it was released and played it for about 2 a half years straight so I'm pretty excited for this.

I like the line in the video "It is time for Legends to become real" because until this video that's all this game was pretty much.

Guild Wars is not free, it just doesn't have monthly subscription.

On the trailer, frankly I was hoping for a more graphical Oomf in the second one. From what I gathered it looks like the same slightly reworked engine. This is good, seeing it will remain very light on resources but below my expectations after so much anticipation and build up.

I played guild wars for about a month when the first version of the game, i can't remember was it prophecy or something like that came out. I never really got into it, but I did unlock all the main worlds :)

Looks cool. I hope NCSoft changes GW significantly and tries new things with GW2 instead of following the same GW1 formula. Not that the GW campaigns so far are bad - I love them - but it's getting a bit old. PvPvE sounds sweet. Graphics are somewhat disappointing from the trailer. Why do they think they must keep the requirements the same as Prophecies? Proph came out in '05; they can step it up a bit. Can't wait for some more info.

When they started showing the actual gameplay, I initially thought, "This looks just like Guild Wars." As it went on I could see the differences, but it's more polished and some characters looked a bit cartoony, but at the heart of it, it didn't appear to be a newer game that would far exceed the first, but I could be wrong.

I really wish I could find someone to buy my GW account though.

I always wanted someone to buy my original GW account (got a new one on steam), but it is linked to my good email, so don't want them to have that.

And the more I see and read, the more I want this game. Awesome!

You can jump in this game, swim, interact with the environment and tons more, they have taken away a lot of the limitations of the first game.
