kimsland
Yes, You can use your savings account. You do not need a Credit (or Debit) Card But you may need to "Add Funds" (in PayPal) to your Savings Card ;)
M_Lyons10
It's been a long time, but you should be able to register with your bank account. You'd have to try and see... In fact, to accept payments and such, you NEED to register your bank account and verify it. You may be expected to be 18 though, as that's the age in which you can legally enter into a contract. Many companies require credit card information to verify that you are of age...
shihchiun
Yeah, you're supposed to be 18 to have a PayPal account. They don't check or anything, but you won't want to attract attention to yourself (i.e., don't get into any disputes).
kimsland
you won't want to attract attention to yourself (i.e., don't get into any disputes). For someone wanting to set up a PayPal account, I can only assume that any "disputes" may be not getting what you paid for (which you will want to dispute) If you're under 18, it may be best to ask your parents I feel

Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted August 22, 2009 Global Moderator Share Posted August 22, 2009 What you can do is purchase a pre-paid credit card from any store (or at least should be) or use your Chequing (checkings) Accounts to do a transfer. You just need any blank cheque (check) and follow the instructions in PayPal to set it up.
+Kyle Subscriber¹ Posted August 24, 2009 Subscriber¹ Share Posted August 24, 2009 If you use the Firefox Paypal Extension you can generate temporary credit cards for a one time use.

I tried confirming paypal agian and it only gave me 1 time and said it was blocked. so I will just buy a prepaid card.
Aetasiric
I'm with @kyle on this one, definately the temp credit card generator (from a logged on session - https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_vdc-hub ... can also find this link within your 'profile'). I'm not sure if this restricts your ability to send money though? You might need a credit card too, although I think the bank account is enough. mokthraka
wait cant I just go buy a prepaid visa card and not even bother with paypal? because that seems like it would be easier then trying to use paypal. since there seems to be a problem with them
