Brian M. Veteran Posted August 21, 2009 Veteran Share Posted August 21, 2009 Hi, I'm on the lookout for a projector - ideally HDMI enabled (at worst, I could get away with feeding component from my amp, but I'd rather it was HDMI). Does anybody have ay recommendations, because I've been looking around, but if I'm honest, I haven't got a clue what's hot and what's not. Cheers :)
jerzdawg
First things first... 1 - Budget 2 - What will be primary usage?
Brian M. Veteran Posted August 21, 2009 Author Veteran Share Posted August 21, 2009 Budget - don't really mind - I'd like to keep it reasonable. Usage will be XB360/PS3/HDTV, with occasional Mac and Wii usage (Wii uses component or composite - I don't really mind which, the rest all use HDMI). _dandy_
Budget - don't really mind - I'd like to keep it reasonable. The problem is that "reasonable" is so subjective. If you've never bought a projector before, how do we know what your expectations are? Lets narrow down the discussion before getting into the specifics. If you were thinking of anything below $1000, this really limits your choices as far as HDMI-capable projectors go.
