Buio
Regarding PhysX, I think that the G300 will be much more suitable for it. Graphics cards have been done with graphics in mind, I think that next generation of cards will be much more suitable for physics as they adapt for GPGPU. And as games are bottlenecked by consoles, it leaves a lot of compute power on the next generation cards. It will be interesting to see how advanced PhysX effects they will be able to do on G300. carmatic
a barrel can only fall in so many ways before it gets boring. but how many ways can the barrel break before it gets boring? how many barrels can it handle at once? how prone is the simulation to glitching? not to mention some real life principles like the sound it makes when it hits something, being deformed by the collision, the aerodynamics of going through the air or fluid dynamics of being in/on water , etc etc etc theres still a looooong way to go... I have not tested it myself, but saw the video. Also I'm a user, so I do not know if it is good, or even offer any advantages over a CPU based version. that sounds like a pretty interesting demo... but im not convinced until someone makes it into a game...
