NeoXY
Hey Everyone So I have a bit of MSN Craziness going here. Problem is simple and its driving me nuts. I am having trouble with just one contact on my MSN list. So 2 things I'd like to do with this contact. 1) Put her in a particular category and 2) Be able to talk to her. Now her in her own category thing worked well for donkey's years till recently, the category suddenly disappeared off Adium (not MSN client for Mac), and no matter how hard I try, I can't get her back into that category in the sense that I'd move her back in, she'd be out of it again the next time I log in, or the category would disappear all together, idk its just crazy. I'd make or remake a category, put her back in, she'd be out of it again, the changes would reflect on the MSN client, sometimes not, anyways, it doesn't matter what I do, the contact just doesn't seem to want to stay in the group. Second problem, my messages keep bouncing. Its really bad on adium. Maybe every 30 or so, and nothing would get through. Its a bit better on MSN, but occasionally the client would just s*** itself and stop sending messages, the message I try to send afterwards look very messed up so on and so forth. I thought it was a connection issue on my end, but I MSN with other people fine, so does she. .........lol not impressed. Anyone have a magical fix they care to share? TheDisneyMagic
For your first problem, try going to http://people.live.com and login with the Windows Live ID that you use for Windows Live Messenger. Create a new catagory through this portal and then click on the contact and select catagory at the top and add the contact to the new catagory. Sign back in to your client and see if that works.
