Games on Demand Pricing

Recommended Posts

Ok so a few days ago i got Burnout Paradice via Games on Demand via the Console and i used my MS Points and i paid 1,400MSP for it, but when I did a conversion from 1,400MSP to real money it was only ?11.99, but if you pay for the same game via your credit card its ?19.99.

So MS are charing more if you pay via credit card?

this isnt right is it?

I would say it's right, since you're not getting a hard copy of the game.

Edit: Nevermind see what you're saying...

I think it's due to whatever deal MS has signed with the credit card cos in order to support them on Live.

What I mean is that, when you made the transaction with your card, the card co and or the bank behind it gets it's cut in the process, think paypal, which gets a few cents on each transaction you make. But in this case the difference is higher. That's how I think it works.

When you pay with MS points you only interact with MS, no "middle man".
