Vice
I had a Classic 17" MacBook Pro from August 2006 to Feb 2009 and then I got the newer unibody 17" in Feb 2009 which had the Multi-touch Glass trackpad. And it took me about 7 days to get used to it. During those days I was clicking on things I didn't want to and accidentally moving windows and all sorts. Mainly because of where I was used to resting my thumb when I had the older 17" which had a large button to click which I would rest my thumb on. But after I got used to the new Trackpad I think its really excellent its a marked improvement over the previous trackpad and the extra size is really nice especially for the four finger gestures which I use all the time for Expos?. The above is all about my experience with the Trackpad under OS X. When I tried it in Windows ... well it wasn't good. The drivers were very poor and I couldn't get it to do anything I wanted. It would ignore my input at one moment and not the next and it was just really poor the newer Snow Leopard drivers included on the SL disc seem to have fixed that though.(Y))
tmr250z
I absolutely love it. It's leaps and bounds above regular trackpads, especially with the two finger scrolling. I bought a Logitech VX Nano mouse to use with my MacBook Pro that I haven't even opened yet because I love using the this multitouch trackpad so much.
