Xbox 360 gold help please.

My Son's Gold xbox live account ran out & reverted back to silver. I logged into xbox.com & paid for another 12 month gold service.

I have received an email from microsoft with regards to the upgrade.

It has been an hour now & his account is still silver!

He has logged out & back in again, logged out & powered down, the booted up & logged in again but this does not help.

Is there a specific way this must be done or is it a simple case of patience?

Account changes made on Xbox.com take longer than updating them on the console/dashboard itself. On the dashboard they are instant.

Just be patient and it will update. If it still doesn't, call support.
