Red Faction Guerrilla PC to include DLC + bonus content out of the box

Recommended Posts

PC fans who have been waiting patiently for THQ to release the PC port of Red Faction Guerrilla will apparently be rewarded when the game ships to stores on September 15. IGN reports that the PC port of the first person shooter will not just include the original console game but a bunch of extra content as well.

Specifically, the article says the PC version will include the Demons of the Badlands single player DLC that was recently announced for the console version. It will also have six multiplayer maps from the Wrecking Crew DLC, and two more Wrecking Crew maps that were previously made available for people who pre-ordered the console version. There will also be two exclusive PC only multiplayer maps and two exclusive gameplay modes (bagman and team bagman). All for just $40.

The original 2 were A LOT better than the new one! I tried the demo on my PS3 and I just couldn't get into it like I did with the original two on my PS3. :/ Maybe it was just me.

If people do like it, then this is good news because PC users got shafted when this was delayed.

I've been keeping an eye on this game and I haven't decided if I want to buy it yet. I've read all sorts or reviews on it saying it's anything from extremely awesome to really repetitive.

The second one was utter garbage. This one is far better than the second. The first wins IMO though.

I bought it and it's excellent, the visuals are a lot more impressive than the console versions. The only problem(s) are the game is a bit buggy, there are broken menu options (audio), performance issues (stuttering) and scrambled audio when using 5.1 sound.

A patch is in the works and if you have a ati HD video card, be sure to download the 9.10 beta drivers RC6 or RC7. Check rage3d forums for details.

I played this on the 360.

It's a game you can vent your frustrations on. Especially if your day has taken your nerves, you can really get into smashing everything to hell w/ your sledge hammer.

It's a good game w/ really good insight on an open world environment. It is buggy as previously mentioned but nothing bad enough to ruin the experience.
