Guest
When I plug my iPod touch (1st generation) into my iMac or if the iPod touch is already plugged in when the computer starts, iTunes opens automatically. I know the there is an option in the iPod touch preferences in iTunes to change this behaviour, but it is greyed out and unticked, as shown in the screenshot below: Any ideas what would be causing it? Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) - I done an upgrade from Leopard, but it also happened in Leopard. iPod touch 1st generation running 2.2.1 software (downgraded because I had problems with the battery life in 3.0) iTunes 8.2.1 Thanks. Guest
It won't let me, its greyed out. Thinking maybe it could be a corrupt iTunes preferences file?
Xero
There should be an option under Preferences for disabling automatic sync of iPods/iPhones. Should be under the Devices pane.
