More Windows 7 Updates Leaked (Build 7600.20510.090819-1503)

Recommended Posts

if the update does not apply then it wont install but 7 is very stable for me except my desktop icon bug and sometimes when i resume and i try to open an app from the superbar the system just hangs and i have to do a hard restart to fix it(but windows 7 resumes where i was so my open stuff is left open.

It needs a lot of updates. So far I experienced more than 30 bsods, and no, it's not a driver issue.

I'm running RTM, and I havn't had a single bsod.

If it's not a driver issue, then it's probally a hardware issue(faulty cpu, graphics, motherboards like to throw them).

Ive just installed these new extra updates all seems well. Now altogether I have around 30 updates installed, but if you encounter any problems with them you can uninstall them

I, for one am glad to see that Microsoft aren't sitting on their arse and are already patching up bugs, so kudos for them IMO.

I don't get these kinds of errors on my other os and I didn't get them before that. Even on RC I didn't get them. But it's something I can live with, it makes my system feel more "alive" :D.

Must be a hardware or a driver issue... been running it since it was released on RTM and havent rebooted since... rock solid

Well the OS isn't technically out yet. ;)
Sure it is. It's available through Technet, volume licensing, OEM, and parter channels. The only channels that I'm aware of that it's not available through is retail and some of the Select licensing programs.
It's not out commercially yet
Sure it is. The volume licensing programs would fit very well under this category.

Yeah hence why I said "technically". To the other 90+% of the population, it's not legally out yet.

They might as well hold on to it and make sure it's 100% safe before unleashing it to the masses.

Plus, they know that if the people running Win7 now want the updates, they will find them with ease. No biggie.

Easiest thing to do is blame Windows instead of actually sorting the problem with your hardware / drivers :)

I am with Windows 7 since January and it was rock stable, no BSOD for me. Now I've just updated something on my computer and I am living in blue hell. A hint: it's not the O.S. ;)

Getting hold of X64 versions of these updates seems impossible. Seems some leakers need to learn that not everyone is stuck on X86 these days

when i got ,they were both in the same package

Installed the updates like 30 minutes ago. Nothing noticeable so far.

do you have the same issue that i have in terms of the desktop icons shifting spots when running full screen games? if no then that puzzles me.

One of my friends running W7 also has that problem.
