See just how well or just how bad your machine actually is when it comes to stability. Mine - after nearly a month of 24/7 operation (only rebooted 3 times for updates) - sits at about 8.9 on the 1-to-10 scale because of a failed USB device driver installation last week that I tried 3 times before I got it working. Wasn't the fault of Windows 7, wasn't the fault of the device, it was a crappy driver from the manufacturer which finally resolved itself. So many people talk about their computers and OSes being "stable" - Windows 7 is the first OS ever to tell you if it's actually stable or not based on that reliability.
