Snakehn
Does anybody here uses Apple Mail with multiple email accounts, if so, let me ask you something. i have my gmail working wonderful with Apple mail, now i want to setup my wife's gmail account in the same client, so she doesn't have to go to gmail website and sign in and all that, now i know how to setup the 2 accounts together, my question is: when writing a new message, how does apple mail manages or know which account is sending the new message? if i just open apple mail and hit "new Message", how does it choose which account to send it from? do you have to click the inbox of the account first? sorry if is a dumb question, just don't want to mess it all up. DrunknMunky Veteran Posted September 9, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 9, 2009 When you create a new email, there is a drop down list which lets you select what address you wish to send from. It's at the top of the window where the To: CC: Subject: is.
