Phantom Helix
A few of you have said the MM doesn't have right click, but it does. They mean that since the case is one single piece of plastic it doesn't react very well because most people rest both fingers on the mouse, wether you enable true right click in system preferences or not its design doesn't work very well compared to two separate buttons

sundayx Veteran Posted September 13, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 13, 2009 I use it at work, the side scroll is good, but buttons and everything else, not so much.
cacoe
I can't stand them, theres nothing specific I dislike, they just don't feel right, even though acceleration and speed can be changed, I can't find anything that feels comfortable. I'm using the Logitech RX1500 at the moment, it's not pretty but it feels perfect, the best mouse I've ever had that cost less than ?15. I decided to stop spending a bomb on higher end mice when my (at the time) ?65 logitech mx1000 scroll wheel broke, had a replacement mouse sent, broke again and was left without a warranty at this point. DO_A_BARREL_ROLL
Is the "Mighty" mouse one of those 1-button mouses?
andrew_f
Not really, one piece of plastic but if you press the right side it's a right click, if you click the left side it's a left click.
+Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted September 13, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted September 13, 2009 I like the functionality of the rollerball, but the rest of the mouse felt very awkward to me. The right click was impossible to be precise with. Moreover, once a week the ball would stop scrolling, and I'd need to blow/tap to fix it. If only logitech made a similarly functioning altertnative...

DirtyLarry Veteran Posted September 13, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 13, 2009 I ordered one right after they came out a couple years ago and used it about a week. I'll stick my my razor diamondback. Same here. I was all excited Apple came out with a Mouse, I used it for two days literally then went back to my Logitech. Since then I just give them to my mom for her Mac that I gave her, as my mom is somehow capable of destroying mice no problem. LOL I still have the original one I forked out way to much cash for though, in the same drawer I put it in when I stopped using it after two days, just for sentimental value. pdmcmahon
Wow, I must be in the minority in that I use it with no issues, BT Might Mouse on my 2009 Mac Mini. It probably helps that I utilize a RipperXXL mouse pad along with it. I also have the non-10-key BT Apple keyboard.
MrKuro
I loved the 360 scrolling but sadly it didn't take very long for the scrollball to stop working correctlyI replaced it with a Logitech MX™ Revolution I Might be replacing that with Logitech Performance Mouse MX™ me too
5iver
I remember it was nightmare to clean cause the gunk gets caught up so I had to chunk it and get my mom a plain old logitech. For all the hype about Apple's attention to design they have a history of churning out peripheral/input turds like the puck mouse, mighty mouse, flimsy numpad-less chicklet keyboards, no right click touchpads and now those frustrating click evreywhere touchpads. DigitalE
I can't stand the Mighty Mouse. It's not ergonomic at all, there's no distinction between left and right click, and the scroll ball is too hard to use.
