Games that you find yourself replaying

Recommended Posts

Generally speaking, None, and I am being serious. Time has been limited for me for the past 14 years basically, with it really coming at a premium now that I am in my thirties, so generally speaking I beat a game and move on and usually never touch it again as I like experiencing as many games as humanly possible for me.

Of course I am not counting MP games, as I do play them for awhile once I have a favorite, but as far as SP Campaign based games, the only games I can recall going back and attempting to play for a 2nd time have been RTCW, Max Payne, Doom 3 (I had gotten better PC components so wanted to experience well) Bioshock (I had finally built a new gaming PC and wanted to see it in all it's glory), and COD4 (new gaming PC), and all of those I went to replay, I never came close to finishing again. Just got a few levels in and moved on.

World of Warcraft :(

But seriously. None really. I replayed GTA a few months back but I struggle to keep up with all the releases I do find my self occasionally playing either TF2 or CoD4 with friends though when the opportunity occurs.

Currently re-playing DK64 & Conker's Bad Fur Day. Might start FF VIII again but not too sure if I can be bothered. It can be pretty boring re-playing games sometimes since I just remember everything about the game when I come to play it.

Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8 I play again at minimum once a year, same for Super Metroid.

Fallout 3 I always love going back to, such an awesome game, New Vegas better be good.

Pac-Man, Tetris and Space Invaders (in some form) nearly every week.

Resident Evil series (usually 4) - maybe once a year

Halo & Zelda series - again usually once a year or so

I quite often restart Half Life 2 every once in a while, but never finish it.
