Bioshock for Mac?

Recommended Posts

It is true that 2k will release Bioshock for Mac? I checked this link and they have Bioshock as TBA 2009. They have also Postal 3 as TBA 2009. I am not really a gamer but if this is true it will make mac gamers very happy.

This is the first I've heard of it. Seems a little late now the the sequel is on the horizon. In other news, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition will be released simultaneously for Windows and OS X, but it's been out for over a year on the consoles.

I quite agree with you, I even went to the 2K site and I didn't see a single news about it.

Guess this is good for users still using the PowerPC versions of the macs like the G5's but for those who have Intel Processors, why not make a small partition with windows 7/win vista/ WinXp just dedicated for gaming and nothing more?

What makes you think all Mac owners have a spare copy of Windows?

Aspyr is doing the port and supposedly is still on track, the have several 2k and Activision ports on the schedule for this summer that appear late.

I really do loathe Aspyr. Been waiting more than a year for them to patch Neverwinter Nights 2, as well as release the expansions. I haven't bought another game from them again with this lack of support.

The problem with Aspyr is that they continue to churn out ports like candy without continuing to support what they already put out. If patches are ever released, it's usually way late. The reason I'm disgruntled in the case of NWN2 is because without having the game at the same version as its Windows cousin, you can't play online. That, and many servers require the expansion packs. So, you're essentially stuck with half of what the game is supposed to be.

I see what you did there.... :shifty:

But perhaps I was referring to those users who already have a dual boot setup on their Apple computer? :p

For the time being, I'm using the Windows 7 RC to play NWN 2 :p.

So basically you would like Aspyr to stop doing Mac ports and we should all just dual boot? Not arguing, just trying to make sure that was your point.
