simsie
Hey, I like to use the Neowin RSS feed to download articles to my phone/Pocket PC when connected to the computer and read on the move when I have no internet. I've noticed though that the RSS feeds only have shortened versions of the articles and then a 'read more' link. Is it possible to make the feeds show the full articles? Thanks, Simsie
DaveLegg Developer Posted September 17, 2009 Developer Share Posted September 17, 2009 Possible yes, but it's not going to happen. Neowin relies heavily on advertising revenue, and if we allow people to view entire articles from RSS feeds, they have no reason to click through to the site, and thus we lose out on the income. Can you not include ads in the RSS feed?
