The_Observer
Just got my OSX86 Machine up and running, been working on this for sometime, planing with new parts, apart from one stuff up, (got rev 2.0 mobo and not rev 1.0) it seems to running great! Looking forward to seeing what i can do with it! Here are a list of my parts Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L Rev 2.0 (note that if you can get the Rev 1.0 board do so, as they have change the Network Card on Rev 2.0 and at the moment, there is no support for it.) Intel E5200 @ 3.0Ghz with Coolermaster V8 CPU Cooler ( note with the CPU Cooler, i went with this cause im lookin @ overclock this type of CPU, some reports say you can get upto 4.0Ghz. ) 2.0Gigs DDR2 667 (note that the more the better, at the moment this will do) Nvidia 7600GS 512MB (note that this should be a 9400GT min, but at the moment this would work also) Realtek RTL8139 PCI Network Card 80.0Gig SATAII Hard Drive DVDRW SATA Antec Three Hundred Black Case Had my PSU die on me last nite! due to the fact i placed the thing with the fan facing down, so i over heated! Got a temp one for now, but lookin for a new one. Any thoughts on a good one to get. BTW i have a problem with the Restart. If shutdown all is fine, but if i restart then the machine, will not reboot.... and at the moment, i using a windows keyboard till i can get a MAC one, so how do i do a screen dump on may machine? cabron
I just don't understand how people expend money just to build something that is eventually illegal, if you can't afford a brand new Mac buy an used one. I bought to my mother an used PowerMac G4 MMD and cost me around $200, yeah its not a big deal but I did not expend $200 dollars just to try and build something illegal. Buy the real thing or just build a Windows Machine. I am surprise that Neowin allow OSX86 topics like it is something legal to do.
Steeley
Well done, mate! Similar to my machine, which is lightning fast. Screen dump is command+shift+3. Make sure you turn of automatic updates. Some can kill it.

kizzaaa
Checked out the link jigz posted and found it very interesting. I love using OS X but hate being limited to the pricey Apple hardware, I'll probably consider building a hackintosh in the future.
