soniqstylz
Looks pretty cool! I don't own an iPhone, but may get a PSP. If you can port this as a PSP Mini, might pick it up. Good luck with it :)

Menge
Looks pretty cool! I don't own an iPhone, but may get a PSP. If you can port this as a PSP Mini, might pick it up. Good luck with it :) Since we're small, I think that we'll stick to the iPhone for a while, due to the SDK being cheaper ;) but if we get the opportunity to develop for other platforms, we'd be happy to do so! congrats, looks cool...port it to android too. It's an idea that's on the table. However, there are no Android phones in Brazil so far... so it's quite hard for us to develop for it without even proper means of testing it :\ windows Mobile app at all? Unfortunately we're sticking to the iPhone to get us a jumpstart. Maybe when the Windows Mobile Marketplace gets a little more evolved we'll jump onto it :D Lol looks fun. Well, we tried all we could to make it so! Everyone we playtested with (and we did playtest with a lot of people!) had -a lot of, I might add- fun once they got the hang of everything you can do (shake to make the zombies fall down, use the gate weapon as another means of defense and buy extra upgrades on the store)! XmoshiX
I'll check it out, I need a good pinball game on my ipod touch. If you want big time coverage, let the guys over at toucharcade know that this is out, they'll review and such, and you'll be able to get more buyers. lunamonkey
I like fieldrunner and geodefense, but I don't like accelerometer games. :/ Looks ok though. I can't make out much from the screens though. I think a few of the colours should contrast so things can be made out easier.

It's regular pinball at first. Only when you get the ball upgrade you get to control the ball with the accelerometer if you want :p otherwise, just keep the iPhone inclined and keep on playing :) yeh i just bought it fun little game. but yeh the colours could contrast a bit more find myself struggling to find the ball sometimes. doesnt help im color blind aswell :p You guys mean the cemetery stage or all the stages? I'll talk to the designers and see what we can change :)
lunamonkey
You guys mean the cemetery stage or all the stages? I'll talk to the designers and see what we can change :) I'm just going from the screens you have / I have seen. I'll make some notes.... hope you see this as constructive criticism. And why I like fieldrunners....
Elliot B.
congrats, looks cool...port it to android too. Why? There's no money to be made from that platform. Yet, anyway.
PyX
Looks very cool, LunaMonkey did a very good analysis as well. Development of these apps and games on iPhone always fascinates me, because the development on this platform seems to take no time, while Mac development seems to take forever... But they all belong on the same code platform basically, the Cocoa APIs. So just out of curiosity, what exactly did you accomplish in this project? Were you on multiple tasks or concentrated on one thing? How much time did it take to develop this game?

Thanks lunamonkey. I just passed those pics to our designers (I'm at home - sick as hell). Thanks for taking the time to do that :) So just out of curiosity, what exactly did you accomplish in this project? Were you on multiple tasks or concentrated on one thing? How much time did it take to develop this game? Well... This is our first try at the iPhone App Store. We wanted to see how much we could get out of the market and all. So far, almost everyone has been absolutely great about our game. Very few people actually had strong negative opinions about it. We mainly wanted to see how well the Brazilian market would react to a Brazilian group making a game that had more than the very basic components to it (most games developed here are VERY simple and proportionally took much longer to develop (for instance: http://www.apptism.com/apps/whack-a-roach). But undoubtedly the biggest market out there is the US store followed by some of the European stores. We were 2 designers and 2 developers. Half of each was part time and half of each was full time. We had more delays than we expected (yay for swine flu hitting the team), so it took us 4 months to develop the game from the ground up. All custom resources, all own engine (rendering and physics) and one external artist hired for song and SFX.
