TheFlusher
I didn't see any thread about the game, so here it is! The game is based on secret war and civil war storyline. It has 25 characters plus possible DLC characters. I thought the game was pretty good, not as deep as part one. I enjoyed the art presentation and story it offered, visually entertaining. Have you guys tried it out?
Tharp Daddy
Seems to be about the same as the first game, with a few upgrades. Fusion powers are reused, which was a letdown. I still can't bring myself to read all the text of conversations, i may rent it at some point; but it seems a no-buy for me.

Massiveterra
got the rental yesterday. I wasn't a big fan of the first one, and UA2 reminded me why. I'm not big on button-mashers so I got bored with the combat pretty easily. There's a whole bunch of bugs in the game, which includes a menu that you can't exit out of unless you quit the game. I think I won't be playing any more of this game, so it goes back in the mail tomorrow.
deletedxyz
Why is there no PC version!? >:(
jerzdawg
I played the first few missions... seems very chaotic where they just throw tons of enemies at you. Lots of button mashing... I would like to try out some 4 player co-op.. perhaps that will change things a bit... for now.. the game is average.
gigapixels Veteran Posted September 24, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 24, 2009 I bought this and I don't regret it. My roommate and I have played a good amount and it still seems like we're maybe only halfway through. And yes, the fusion powers aren't all unique, but there are 10+ different styles... It's easy to make a team with different styles, and that's a good idea anyway as you really want one of each type (clearing/targeted/guided) for different situations. This game is awesome IMO (Y)
deletedxyz
The original Marvel Ultimate Alliance was very fun to play. Does anyone know why there is no PC version or any mention of a release date? Don't tell me that they're not releasing any such version... :(

deletedxyz
http://www.shopto.net/PC/GAMES/PCMA14-Marv...liance%202.htmlPC version February 23rd?! What a joke of a release date... Are they trying to to get as little revenue as possible? Q1 of 2010 is when all the biggest releases launch! Thanks, Pabs, for the information. Much appreciated.
