Hi guys, I'm trying to get the open source project going that would be coded in BD-J. I would basically design the app, discuss the functionality and since I have no clue about Java or BD-J, I would really like someone who might know or is experienced with Java but wouldn't mind trying to get into BD-J to help out.
The project is real Media Center application similar to Windows Media Center or XBMC but the idea is to run on Playstation 3.
Recently I've had a chance to see a working build of a simpler game written in BD-J that runs from a usb stick directly on PS3. if someone is experienced with BD-J or would like to get into it and has Java background I think this would be an amazing project that would definitely draw a lot of attention from users and public in general not to mention it would allow us to make a kick ass super slick application that would run directly on PS3 and allow us to work with our media and movies and shows and music and so on.
Anyone wants to maybe try this out and help me out? It's for a good cause. And who knows, you might even make some money in the process.
