mealies
Just got in from work, and turned the xbox on. Saw notice for update so started that. it seemed to install OK and then rebooted. Got to the dashboard where the image and audio went crazy and then froze. Rebooting it just shows the Red Ring of Death. my xbox is 2+ years old. Is that too old for the Sales of Goods Act to be enforced? I really don't want to pay for a new one Andrew

Kool Box
Mine died today, didn't even power on properly, 3 bar RROD. I'll arrange for Microsoft to collect it. It's been unstable recently with freezing or garbled graphics.

Snakehn
Mine hung during the update, so i turned it off and back on, booted back on the dashboard and prompted me for the update again, tried again and worked, nothing new it seems.
