Cyber-Knight
sorry  I didn't mention it above so that I wouldn't be advertising illegally. I work in optimising webservers (LAMP - "a need for speed" work), troubleshooting slow websites (especially drupal).. and I want to offer my paid services on neowin (neobay). Is that legal? svnO.o
Personal Buying/Selling Only. No Commercial OffersNeoBay is for personal buying, requesting, and selling. This includes things like (not limited to) Hard Drives, Stereos, Computers, etc. NeoBay is not for commercial buying and selling. This includes things like (not limited to) advertising your company's business, advertising for Web Hosting, Web Templates, Domain Names, Free iPod (or similar) schemes, Gmail (or other) Accounts, CD Keys for Games/Software etc. NeoBay will not accept the sale of live products (e.g. fruit, animals). If you are concerned as to whether you can list your item on Neobay, pm a member of the moderating team. The Administrators have previously said advertising isn't OK for sigs and that it is "unacceptable and disrespectful that members induce further intrusion and distraction by turning pages into semi-ads". This holds true for NeoBay posts as well. If a member is caught posting web hosting offers (or other types of commercial offers) in NeoBay, that person will be warned and/or restricted from this area. I'd assume "offering your services" is the same as advertising your company's business, whether your actually a company or not.
Yorak
Hrmm...I am not sure if it would be illegal, but I doubt. However, you call yourself a friendly, peaceful Arab, but laugh after that. This worries me.
kinetix63 Veteran Posted September 24, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 24, 2009 No, this would be against our rules. Neobay is for selling technology items that you no longer want, not for services.
