Ricardo Gil
This game I suck major balls without a steering wheel. Fixed :p Played the whole career of Forza2 with the controller, felt very natural.

Lamp0
I played through the demo pretty thoroughly. Really awesome, looks incredible and plays pretty much like Forza2, though I really feel a much better sense of speed which was one thing Forza2 lacked. And the cockpit view is amazing, I thought the angle they had wouldn't work but it does! The only problem I have is with my TV. Granted it's not a very good TV(Colours seem "burnt" when dark) the shadows in Forza 3 seem very dark. I had to adjust my brightness and contrast, it still doesn't look correct. I wish they had in game sliders for these. IMO every game should have these. I had a similar issues with Turok, no in game sliders and it looks rubbish! what
Bonnet view is really crappy. Good thing cockpit view works I guess :p It doesn't in most games, restricts too much of the view.

JMann Veteran Posted September 24, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 24, 2009 Just played the demo, and first off love the Menu system which is so clean and easy to use - perfect! Driving in the game is good, handles really well and definately NFS Shift doesn't even have a leg to stand on. I know very soon I will grow tired of that initial animation at the start of the race. Also the view inside the car is pretty restricting as you can't even see the mirrors!? Plus when I started to properly test the damage I smashed my windscreen on the R8 and from the outside it was all smashed, but from the inside it was still perfect. :p It would of been nice if they could address little details like that. Am I right that Forza 3 has already gone Gold? Think I read that somewhere.

Am I right that Forza 3 has already gone Gold? Think I read that somewhere. Personally I'm glad they've done that. When your windscreen smashes in DiRT you can't use the cockpit view anymore. Where's the fun in that? :p Yeah it went gold a week or so. It was posted on the official site as well as just about every gaming blog.
JMann Veteran Posted September 24, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 24, 2009 True, I am playing DiRT 2 now and yes it is annoying. ;) Will still definately purchase the game, looking forward too it.
Sikh
.....Cmon MS this is the one game you should be pimping to all 360 accounts :( I've heard a 24/48 hour trial account doesn't give you access to gold Demos either? Confirm/Deny? Deny. I just gave a friend a 48 hour card, he's a casual player so he doesnt have live all the time. Just told him to download this and it worked. Thanks for the news Audio! I appreciate it, Ive been waiting for this game. 10/27 is gonna be a busy day, this and Tekken 6 w/ FightStick!

Great handling and great graphics(Y))

Vortex566
The AI is brutal! I love how this game handles. I have never played a game that feels so good to play. This even is better then GT3:A Spec which I spend well over 200 hours playing. GT5 has a lot to live up too.
MillionVoltss
Cars seem a tad more twitcher than forza 2, demo race dosnt give enough time for tires to warm up properly so 2 laps of sliding about. Time trial mode is the best way to test forza and not AI. In respect to AI it seems that on such a narrow track AI are too agressive even on easy and it's Very hard to overtake properly without underbraking unproffesionally or edge driving. Haven't tested myself yet, but apparently when you get to the track selection screen, press Y and you can do hot laps with no AI and no limit for how long you can go on for. +InsaneNutter MVC Posted September 24, 2009 MVC Share Posted September 24, 2009 You can download the demo here, then extract and burn the content folder on a Data DVD. It will play the same as playing it off the 360's hard drive. I like how on easy the car breaks for you ;) i'm useless at realistic games like this and managed to play it fine on easy / normal.
