Hani
It has nothing to do with the automation (although that's laughable as well), it has everything to do with the idea that he kill everyone. He used to only kill 2-3 people in the entire game, now 2-3 may stay alive in the entire game. But what do I know? The current day console player must have pow-pow-pow or else he'll fall asleep. Agreed.
Ricardo Gil
But what do I know? The current day console player must have pow-pow-pow or else he'll fall asleep. OK, we get it. You don't like console players. Give it a rest, not everyone has the patience nor time to do real stealth. Some of us just want some fun and action, doesn't mean we're brain dead :p

PL_ Veteran Posted October 16, 2009 Veteran Share Posted October 16, 2009 OK, we get it. You don't like console players. Give it a rest, not everyone has the patience nor time to do real stealth. Some of us just want some fun and action, doesn't mean we're brain dead :p But that's not what Splinter Cell is about. It's always primarily been a stealth game; the tension in the first was amazing, and I was pretty annoyed about the knife in the third as it really ruined the whole stealth thing. If I want bang bang bang I'll play another game.

Richard Hammond
Shh whining, at least they are trying to do something different, Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory were all sneak about in the dark games, they changed the formula a bit for Double Agent as there were bits that werent so dark. I am glad they are going in a different direction, but ill bet the people that are whining would still be whining that they havent changed the game and its still the same old boring formula games developers cant win. Perhaps take a Ritalin, to increase your attention span to 10 seconds?

Richard Hammond
What's the matter, hiding in the dark makes you sleepy? Perhaps take a Ritalin, to increase your attention span to 10 seconds? Ive played and finished every Splinter Cell game on multiple systems multiple times, i love the sneaking about aspect but i already have 4 games in my collection that are essentially the same game, i dont need ANOTHER. The last seen behind cover feature, the mark and execute and the interrogations look excellent, i love the new art style by projecting your mission objectives on the buildings and places as you place to immerse you into the game. If you dont like this go play the other 4 games, otherwise quit whining and deal with it, you havent played the game yet.
