t_r_nelson
When I was visiting a friend, I played the demo/prequel to the latest Gran Turismo and I loved it. With all the posts about Forza 3, it gets my blood pumping for a racing game. Are there any racing games for PC that look, feel and perform like Forza or Gran Turismo? I'm getting Dirt 2 when it comes out, but the track racing is a lot of fun.
ViperAFK
Shift or grid are probably the closest your gonna get visual wise, they aren't as simmy as GT though.
Andre S. Veteran Posted September 24, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 24, 2009 GRID for fast-paced, arcade action; anything from SimBin (GTR2, Evolution, Race On) for simulation.
t_r_nelson
That's surprising that no one is going into the level of detail on the PC that they do with consoles. It used to be consoles were the arcade style and the PCs games allowed for a lot of the customization. Now it's reversed. The other thing that was fun about GT was earning money to purchase other cars. Are there racing games that have a wide variety of cars that can be earned/achieved? Sorry for being such a noob. I haven't looked into racing games in a while.
BlackSteyrAug
Just got Shift and I'm loving it. I'd recommend it. I don't think it's as fun as Forza 2 for 360, personally, but it comes close and it's convenient because I don't have my 360 anymore.
