ambushed
haha the RRP of most games in Australia now is $120AUD, which works out to be around $104USDwe'd loooooooove to have your $60 price True that. I flatout refuse to pay that $120 for any game. Ive never paid more than $100 for anything. It's ridiculous. I paid $95 fo Arkham Asylum recently and whilst a cool game I don't feel I got $95 of enjoyment out of it and as such am thinking of throwing it on eBay just to get some of that extra value out of it even though I never usually sell or trade-in my games. I make decent money and can afford to pay $120 for each game I buy but Im also sensible with what Ive got and cant justify that kind of price for a straight-forward 10 hour single player. Anyway, moral of the story, games cost too much and Americans should quit Q'ing about game prices when they get them the cheapest in the world. :p
neoadorable
not if you look at real purchasing power. prices here aren't the lowest in the world by a long shot. even if you stick to exchange rates, then the MSRP for 360 titles is lower in Hong Kong - around $35-40. i know coz i used to work there. The $60 plus tax asking price is nothing to laugh at. besides, isn't $120 oz dollars close to $60 yank bucks?
Neztea
Games are already $69.99 here and with tax costs $79.09. Biggest rip off ever. This is why I can only afford a FEW games a year. :( Have you tried ordering from amazon / play-asia / futureshop / Bestbuy /? Cause sometimes they can have really good deals online from those stores. Also, I do remember they were selling the new batman game for only 38 dollars. Games don't have to cost 70+ dollars, you just need to become the conscious shopper :) Neztea
