Microsoft Confirms that 2 GB is the New 50 MB

Recommended Posts

These file limits are all great but Microsoft has to really work on some new method of storage which is cheaper. I have a 20GB and it's hard to manage save games and add on's let alone arcade games aswell.

Yes there is the 120GB option but the price is absurd, the PS3 has the best method of upgrade ive ever used, it's so easy to upgrade storage.

It's a real shame as i do love the 360 and Trials HD and Shadow Complex are incredibly good games, good prices too. However the storage is a real turn off for me.

It's things like this that make me, and others, expect to get bigger HDD sizes in time. For now though that 250GB is stuck to the limited edition SKU's, but once those are done I fully expect to see it hit retail on it's own. And I hope it comes in at the current price of the 120GB so that one can get a nice price cut. Then I can also get off of my 20GB in time.

If you mean the incident just recently, I believe he was suspended.

No, I was talking about when he posted in his sig that he was leaving. I think it took him a week or so before he was back?

What's more stupid is actually those xbox drives are just 2.5" sata drives in a caddy, it's just Mircosoft lock the platform to only work with the official drives so they can sell them for a huge mark-up.

Personally if microsoft are serious about DLC they should allow you to use a standard Hard-drive like the ps3 does, they could easily make an empty caddy you fit a drive into yourself if they wanted to.

way to troll.

Wait what? Troll? Seriously? You really can't tell the difference between trolling and a joke? What a shame.

Dreamcast maybe, but as for others like N64 etc, I dunno. I suppose it depends on if the 3rd party IP holders can do it? It would be interesting either way.
