In the first episode, players will experience "childhood and the trials of being a young adult in the world of Albion," says MS. LOC Veteran Posted September 29, 2009 Veteran Share Posted September 29, 2009 it does Are you sure about that? I read someplace earlier today that you have to buy one of (at least) the other segments of the game to get any achievements or online co-op ability. /still waiting for a PC version//still hopes for a port for this amazing game Sorry, not going to happen this time. Peter Molyneux has made that quite clear, the bum. And I found this on the Xbox Live Marketplace link: Download the manual for this game by locating the game on http://marketplace.xbox.com and selecting ?See Game Manual". Download the first episode of Fable II, the best-selling action role-playing game, in which you take on the role of a Hero in the fully realised land of Albion. Play through an epic story, become the world?s greatest fighter, gunslinger or mage. Explore dozens of open, unique environments with your faithful dog. Make friends, fall in love and start a family. Meet hundreds of characters and face some very tough decisions. In Fable II, everything you do has a consequence. Episodes 2, 3, 4 and 5 can be purchased within the gaYou will need to purchase further episodes to enable full LIVE functionalities and join other Heroes from around the world on your adventures. There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see www.xbox.com/live/accounts. I assume this means no achievements as well as no co-op obviously. Si_
I skipped this game but am now really regretting it... started playing this free chapter and it's awesome! I can't believe I haven't played this already. I don't think i'll buy the episodes though, the disc can be bought fairly cheaply these days, a lot less than the total cost of the downloads anyway. Yeah, it's dirt cheap. You can probably find it for as low as $20 if you look around. Awesome game. One of my all time favorite RPG's.
