What's the multiplayer like in this game? Multiplayer being the only reason I buy games.

Basically multiplayer is the only reason to buy this game. Its absolutely amazing!

I just sold my 360 version recently and saw this offer. I couldn't resist.

Not only is it a thousand times better on the PC, it also came with all the DLC for FREE, something I wouldn't have got if I kept the 360 version.

Indeed. There are also a ton of custom campaigns for the PC version; some of them are excellent. Personal suggestions are Death Abroad (checkout the 4th stage, resembles the beginning of Call of Duty 4 pretty well), Heaven Can Wait (very long and difficult!), and Dam It! (for a quick game).

Is the game similar to TF2? I don't really like multiplayer much. Too many disobedient people. People just fooling around rather than actually playing.

The only possible similarity between this and TF2 would be that it's a first person shooter. That's where the similarities end.

If you don't like MP much I wouldn't bother getting L4D, personally. Having said that it can be good fun if you're playing with mates, rather than randoms.

Yeah they're not really similar at all. I bought L4D when it was released but I lost interest in it however. I'm still very much into TF2 however, but I'm normally like that. Really into a select few games, and don't play the rest.
