Coldgunner
Don't look like it, the package is on the store for ?7.99 iirc, although if they have the premiership for free like last year I won't bother.

AbandonedTrolley
Also why was this thread created, you should have just used the UK deals thread(s) As it's a multiformat deal that would have meant a post in both Microsoft and Sony. I see no real issue with this getting it's own thread here.
Chemaz
They do deliver on Saturdays you know! not if he had it delivered to a business address.. (which i am assuming?) Nah gettin it delivered to my home address, but im working all wkend so wont be in to sign for it (sent 1st class recorded so needs to be signed) and no1 else will be in and the sortin office where ill need to pick it up from wont be open till monday as they have stupid opening and closin times The royal mail seems to strike every week round here at the mo, took nearly a week for me to get my lovefilm disc rentals through the other week, its gettin quite annoying

+BeLGaRaTh Subscriber¹ Posted October 2, 2009 Subscriber¹ Share Posted October 2, 2009 No you have to pay for it Another reason I hate Fifa with a passion, you have to pay them to stay upto date with transfers etc. E(mphatic) A(rseholes) forcing their micro transactions on you yet again. Well it is a premium feature if you think about it - games have never offered that (until FIFA 09) :s You're free to make the changes yourself if you want...but the Live Season stuff can update everything every week. And you were able to try one league for free on FIFA 09 to see if you liked/wanted it. I think it's a very minor reason to hate EA for FIFA in particular. I'm sure their micro-transactions are a lot worse on other games, but FIFA doesn't seem so bad.
Donkey88
Live Season is one of those things that is fantastic as a freebie but I would never consider buying it. The game as a whole however is very good, and definitely worth the ?25 that you can get hold of it for. (Amazon have it in stock for that price at the moment if you don't mind waiting a few days) The fluidity of the football, especially when I compare it to the PES 2010 demo, is fantastic. Yeah, But in the last years, it would have been a feature to the product you've already paid for, Not an extra charge for a new feature! DLC is the same kind of failure - Instead of giving us a full length game, you get a shorter one and you pay extra for the additional content already created and waiting. WelshBluebird
just order it online, it wont come out of your account til monday cheers, but don't fancy taking the risk of having to pay silly fees to my bank if the account is charged before I have money put in there lol. (its a a ?30 odd charge).

(its a a ?30 odd charge). Er yeah don't listen to BGM! Whilst it won't come out of your account till Monday, they'll stillauthorise> the amount to be sure it's a valid card etc...so you'll still go negative for the weekend. That would be one expensive copy of FIFA lol. You can usually see this happen if you have online banking, or if you check your balance at an ATM. The account balance and "available" balance will vary by the amount that's been charged to it. Edit: saying that...Amazon don't authorise until they're ready to ship...but they might start that process tomorrow, so not worth the risk! Edit2: anyone read the article on Eurogamer about smaller retailers getting their panties in a twist over supermarkets selling for ?25? suppose they have a point (i.e. less competition in the future if these smaller guys get driven out). IMO, the games are already expensive enough. Most shops sell games anyway under the RRP (even if it's a few quid under), so are they against people actually getting something for a decent price here? Most countries probably dont undersell stock as they sell it for a decent price rather then ?40-50.
