iTunes - How do I stop iTunes from trying to download a movie?

Recommended Posts

I accidentally tried to download a movie which I dont want and it is too big for my partition anyways. So everytime I try to update programs for my iphone it tries to download the movie which is still too big.

So how do I get it to stop trying to download it everytime?

Did you pay for it?

you can go into your itunes account info and report a problem with it then ask for the download to be removed

It was a free movie download (Truth in 24)

I just dont like my updates failing everytime because the "disc is full" when it tries to downlaod truth in 24 with my app updates

Ahh, i got that to its ok

anyway you still have to report a problem through your itunes account purchase history, in the itunes app

Do you have enough space to download the movie? If so, do it and then delete it. It won't bother you anymore about downloading since the iTunes Store only allows you to download something once.

If you don't have enough space, then...well, you don't have enough space to properly run an OS anyway.

I think ill just download it after clearing some space. itunes doesnt do anything when i click to report a problem.

The button just disappears. lol

I would really try to clear space or buy an external harddrive if you're running that low. An OS needs good bit of space on its boot partition to breath (for caches, temp files, page files, etc.).

Yeah, thats because then you go up to the top of the page and click the "Report a problem" link next to the specific purchase lol

I know it is a stupid interface, but thats how you do it

I have every file i have ever purchased in my History

Okay. Just making sure. :p I've seen some crazy people bring their boot partitions down so far than an OS will almost refuse to boot.
