SkyDX
Controls; not going to argue with that. Gamepads are way more precise than mouse and keyboard for first person shooters. Alright then Update the PS3 and 360 to optionally support Mouse and Keyboard Controls in ALL games.... then play against me..... Seriously if all consoles would allow Mouse + Keyboard as a control method I would be playing on them way more.

Leo Natan
Then they wonder why there is piracy on the PC... Keep treating PC gamers as third-class citizens, and then cry "Oh, PC games are dying because of piracy" LOL. I will be pirating all PC games that have been delayed for bull**** reasons, thank you very much.
ixne_hombre
..and if people say playing a gamepad is impossible or hard or **** compared to a keyboard...seriously.. c'mon! If you can master aiming with two thumbsticks..that takes alot more practice and skill to do that than to aim a mouse..Learn on a gamepad..maybe it might improve your skill with a mouse well, the fact that many/most console fps games do include some sort of aim-assist suggests that it wont - whether you enable it or not(this, by the way, in the PC gaming world, is known as an aimbot). Mice offer much better flexibility and responsiveness than gamepads do, especially if you get a gaming mouse. Tend to somewhat agree about keyboards - they just aren't as intuitive for movement as a thumbstick might be, but the number of keys available (compared to a gamepad) more than make for it. SYBINX
Everything is being delayed at the moment. There are loads of games which should have either been released by now or are being delayed. Although some developers are giving us release dates, I don't think we will see most of the games which should have been released in 2009 until either Q1 - Q3 2010. Ji@nBing
Really, guys. If you want all the latest games on time and want them not to be a rushed port, just get a 360 and call it a day. PC is an afterthought these days. Sucks, but it's true. No use complaining anymore as this is happening with almost every game now.

No use complaining anymore as this is happening with almost every game now. COD4 on the PC was hardly a rushed port, IW done a great job on every platform. That's not the issue here I guarantee IW have done another great job and the games great across all platforms (technically). This is being delayed to try and force more console sales, as the console versions where Activision make a killing off your wallet. They're so money orientated it's not even funny, they should really pay more attention to Blizzard, they make more money than they know what to do with but still put a large balance on the consumer. As a publisher Activision are going to be going down the moral pan very quickly and turn into the old EA. Remember it's IW that make COD MW2, Activision just publish it. Yeah, IW is an awesome dev, so I didn't mean to imply that this particular game will be a rushed port, but a lot of games are and a lot of PC users complain about it in every thread. I was just saying they're better off just biting the bullet and getting a 360, as the majority of devs obviously don't care and aren't listening, so complaining accomplishes nothing. Yeah but this a thread PC owners actually have a decent complaint to raise :p For once it's not down to trying to blame piracy, it's not down to a ****ty port, it's not down to missing content, etc. It's plain and simply a corporate decision made only on the basis to frustrate and try to force hand - I will forever believe that till Bobby Kotick gives a genuine reason of why a 14 day delay is needed. If there's anything the PC games scene doesn't need aside from obtrusive DRM, crap ports, missing content, it's publishers yanking peoples chain for corporate greed. That's one thing they can't turn around and blame on the usual line of "you PC guys don't buy games, you all pirate", delaying a game 14 days is only going to bring on more piracy, not less. It certainly leaves a bad taste in the mouths of PC gamers that's for sure. Some would say they're shooting themselves in the foot but no doubt they'll still make more this way through super jacked up console game prices. (at least +$20 in Aus normally vs PC games, then another +$10 because they're greedy trialing new pricing scheme). Also, this is the publishers doing (Activision) - IW don't have much control over that side of things.

Well, it wont. In fact it will be even worse because of this.
Pc_Madness
COD4 on the PC was hardly a rushed port, IW done a great job on every platform. Personally I didn't many of the multiplayer maps suited the larger number of PC players (32), they barely hold 20. And I think the inclusion of..Shipment? speaks wonders. Hopefully the levels are bigger this time around, but considering the last sold so well on consoles I doubt they'll waste time doing it right. :\

Minifig
Anyone know if it's coming to Steam on the 24th too? I just found out I'm getting a 400 dollar tax return, and I get it early. AKA. I get a whole bunch of games I've been looking at buying for a while.. This, Batman AA, and perhaps two more. we'll see... but I really want this on Steam. Chasethebase Reporter Posted October 15, 2009 Reporter Share Posted October 15, 2009 It seems pretty much confirmed, even though IW haven't given an official statement about it. It kinda makes me sad really, but I'll still buy it on PC just because it's cheaper and being a student money is most definitely on the tight side. Pupik
Price has been increased for the PC version and still no reason for the delay: http://www.hotbloodedgaming.com/2009/10/15...rice-increased/ edit: You know what? **** them! macrosslover
if this game really comes out for $60 on the pc with no special edition, i'm not buying it, purely on principle. I swear Activision just really doesn't care about their customer anymore and is trying to do everything they can to rape profits from them. The fact that nobody from Activision has even come out yet to say if it's delayed, why, or what the price is even going to be shows how much Activision cares about the community.
