Peter MK
So there was me so happy with my iPhone and couldn?t believe how easy it was to carry around my emails and diary and both were in sync with my companies Outlook. I was so impressed I shelled out ?1400 of my hard earned cash to buy a new Mac Air using a wonderful NEW operating system Snow Leopard. Imagine my surprise after 3 days of trying I find that whilst my iPhone can connect with minimum effort to OWA 2003 my very expensive Mac Air even with its new software cant. Unless you guys know better? Peter
Elliott
Short answer: Nope. A little research goes a long way. Snow Leopard uses improvements only found in Exchange 2007 to connect to Exchange servers. It's not the licensed ActiveSync technology that the iPhone uses. Unfortunately, even Microsoft's own Mail/Calendar/Contacts product for the Mac, Entourage, will run into the same problem. Just as a sidenote: If you want to, you can use the (very clunky) Exchange IMAP implementation in Mail. You're pretty much out of luck for contacts and calendars though. Or you can just convince your company to upgrade to Exchange 2007 or the soon-to-come-out Exchange 2010. :p Edited October 6, 2009 by Elliott
