kombolcha
yup. i did another speed test and it said my connection was faster than a T1 line. how is that possible. i'll post the picture later. it was something like this. your's: ================== T1 line =========== 56k =
MLapointe
A T1 line is fater at the other end. Your cable modem speed is faster than a T1 connections but a T1 connections is defined as 1.5Mbps in both directions (upload and download speed). That should answer your questions. kombolcha
 ^ i don't know.. the same thing happened a long time ago where i posted about not having broadband. it turned into "this is what i get" who cares.. i don't mind it.. besides i'd like to compare mine with others. holly crap... how the hell do you guys get that kind of speed. tell this is not cable!! w/ adelphia i'm running "powerlink service" 2Mb down/384 up.. thier new service will be called "powerlink premium" the installer told me that it was in beta testing. it was working in some areas and not in others. maybe july or august they will sell it for $70. its 3Mb down/ 512Kb up. i'm pretty sure i'll get that as soon as it is available. even though what i have now is more than plenty :p now.. to split the cable so that i can get free cable TV  :ninja: ... :pinch: damn! the video is filtered on the cable :(
