Today I was working with creating strings in C++, and was doing one of the exercises from the book I'm using, and upon compiling the program I wrote to complete the exercise, I got some strange new program thing that appeared and seemed to be warning on a copyright, or rather, that my program did not have one on it.

My compiler even opened up a new project tag entitled string.h (after the library I assume), which is the one containing the second code I posted here, that I have no understanding of.
So.. Can anyone tell me what's going on with this?
Do I need to use a different compiler or is there something wrong with my code that I'm not picking up on?
