zagor
I am not sure if this was discussed before, but since it may cause a major headache, I will post it: Login bug Users are reporting that when they login to the guest account, the data on their main account gets deleted the next time they log back in to their main account. .Neo
Already posted on the main page. I've been using the guest account since day one with Snow Leopard but nothing happened to my account yet. Guess only upgraded machines from Leopard are affected?

thealexweb
God Snow Leopard having a poor start, Apple probably rushed to finish to get it out before Windows 7 arrived on the market, as a result they had no time to deliver a polished product. zagor
I hope they will acknowledge the issue and issue a fix as soon as possible.
PyX
God Snow Leopard having a poor start, Apple probably rushed to finish to get it out before Windows 7 arrived on the market, as a result they had no time to deliver a polished product. Come on, Snow Leopard doesn't have a "poor" start. It's just this bug and the one where apparently you can connect on a protected account without the password that make it so bad right now. Otherwise, it always did the job for me. I noticed a few bugs in some places, but it's not "bad", but the thing is, it shouldn't have been released so early. They still have a lot of bugs here and there to fix. The OS is still very solid in here though. 10.6.2 will be what SL should have been from the beginning. Elliott
I hope they will acknowledge the issue and issue a fix as soon as possible. It's been acknowledged and they're working on a fix. The simplest fix is just to disable and then re-enable the Guest account. It only happens when you upgrade from Leopard while the guest account is enabled. However, this is exactly the reason why any computer user should run backups. You never know when something weird like this is going to happen, whether it be because of an OS bug or because of an application bug. Snow Leopard was probably rushed a bit, but I have yet to encounter any bugs in it. I'm very happy with it. :p
