Wannes
Hi, Is it possible to disable the symbol of the active corners? Right now their is 1/4 transparent circle showing me there is an active corner but I don't want those symbols to be there. Can I disable them but still use my active corner? Thanks in advance. Elliott
What version on OS X? I'm not seeing them for some reason.
Rudy
I've attached a screenshot of the bubble I'm talking about. I'll have a look when I get home if no one provides you with an answer but my first guess would be somewhere in System Preferences
Elliott
I found it. It's a hidden Dock preference you've somehow managed to enable. :p Put this into Terminal: defaults write com.apple.dock wvous-showcorners -bool false and then this: killall Dock
Wannes
10.5.8 I've tried looking in System Preferences but I can't seem to find anything. However, my version is in Dutch so I need to translate every single world. EDIT @Elliot: Thank you but what if I can't run Terminal? I can't find it anywhere on my system, not even in utilities. I have a feeling I've managed to mess up my Mac a whole lot.
Rudy
Maybe you should do a reinstall? I don't know what you did but it doesn't sound good :p
Elliott
Weird. It should definitely be in Utilities. Do a Spotlight search for it, maybe? But yea, I'd almost suggest a reinstall if it's really not there. Sounds like there's quite a bit wrong. :p
Wannes
The ideal time to upgrade to Snow Leopard I suppose. Every accident has some luck. :)

instant.human
you can activate them in "onyx", iirc. and you were able to toggle them via the expos?-menu in system prefs. try onyx and if that doesnt work, upgrade.:pp
Quillz
Time to do an erase & install of Snow Leopard.
.Neo
Simply trash your Dock preferences located in ~/Library/Preferences/
Wannes
Thanks for the suggestions. I won't spend any more time on this issue since I've just bought Snow Leopard. The upgrade, and solution, will happen tomorrow. :) EDIT: A quick view in Onyx made me turn off those bubbles. Ideal! Thanks.
