Xbox360 won't read disks if one is in at startup

My Xbox360 (still under a year old) has a weird problem...

If I turn it on with a disk in the tray, it won't let me play any games from a disk until I restart it without a disk. It gets to "reading" then switches back to "Open Tray". If I turn it on with no disk in, it works fine, though. Any idea whats going on?

If you have an air canister just spray some air in the drive (point towards the lens). See if that solve the problem if not just do like everyone else says call MS, they will replace one for you.

I understand if you're hesitant about the time it take them to replace, but I would say a good week is the best bet.
