Sophism
I have written a backup script that works great, it compares the file hash of the source files to a "cache" of md5 sums from previous hashings. It works great, however it takes forever to generate the hashes on some of our larger files, (100-200GB Database dumps). Has anyone tried something similiar and can anyone recommend a different method for hashing out files to ensure no two are the same..
