Buying a T.V. and I have a question.

I'm wondering if it's really worth an extra $50.00 to get an extra HDMI port, an extra Component port, and 1080p? These are the two I was looking at.

And as a side question what's a service port on a T.V. anyway? Sorry I have been out of the home theater loop for a while now.

The service port will be some interface that is used to diagnose and upgrade the software that runs on the TV. As for the rest, the resolution (720p versus 1080p) is the only difference. It means the more expensive one can display a more detailed picture if a 1080p source (like Bluray) is connected to it.
