SyntheticVirusZ Share Posted October 22, 2009 I'm wondering if it's really worth an extra $50.00 to get an extra HDMI port, an extra Component port, and 1080p? These are the two I was looking at. http://www.vizio.com/flat-panel-hdtvs/vo320e.html http://www.vizio.com/flat-panel-hdtvs/voj320f1a.html And as a side question what's a service port on a T.V. anyway? Sorry I have been out of the home theater loop for a while now.

hdood Share Posted October 22, 2009 The service port will be some interface that is used to diagnose and upgrade the software that runs on the TV. As for the rest, the resolution (720p versus 1080p) is the only difference. It means the more expensive one can display a more detailed picture if a 1080p source (like Bluray) is connected to it. splur Share Posted October 22, 2009 Might as well, why not? Just for future reference, 1080p/60Hz kind of blows... but only if you're really watching HD. If you're not, nothing really matters.
