-KJ
Hi, I recently went to download the Borderlands demo with my XBOX 360 and it kept spitting out an 80004005 error which apparently seems to plague Hughesnet (aka crappiest ISP) users. I haven't downloaded a demo since last year, and had no trouble so until an update in June broke things. Nothing in my control would fix this problem. So, is there a way to download demo's from the Internet and burn them? -- Now, before you say that I should switch ISP's -- I live in the sticks, and I didn't have a choice. Now there is a Millenicom (which uses cell phone towers) that I am interested in, but I am currently in a contract with Hughesnet and would have to pay a lot to get out of it, so I'll just wait one more year. -- Thanks :)
Briandl79
Don't hold your breath on it getting fixed. You could probably buy the Official Xbox Magazine which contains a disk with demos.
King Antonius
Check torrents and whatnot... Demos do not use any protection, so you can just pull em off the web and burn em.
Ferret
I would do as Briandl79 suggested, and get a magazine, with a demo disc.... I think thats your best bet. So how come the ISP only blocks Marketplace ? Can you access the Marketplace from your PC ?
